Many of my friends have told me that making a pie crust is intimidating. Well, I have the easiest ever pie crust recipe. Believe me, everyone will love your pie. Here are the ingredients/
2 1/2 c flour
1 t salt
1 t sugar
16 T unsalted butter (2 sticks) cut into pieces
1/4 to 1/2 c ice water

Put 1/2 cup of water in measuring cup in the freezer. Place the flour, salt and sugar in the food processor using the steel blade. Add cold butter and pulse until mixture is mixture looks like course meal.
Through the tube, slowly add up to 1/4 cup of water as while the food processor is running.

When the dough forms a ball it is ready. If the 1/4 cup of water doesn't bring the dough into a ball, add an additional tablespoon of ice water at a time until a ball forms.

Put a small amount of flour on the counter and place ball on the flour. Create two equal sized balls, flatten then some so that they will be easier to roll out, wrap them in plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator for at least a 1/2 hour before rolling out. You can use one of the two balls for the top crust or freeze it for later use.
